Fibroblast and Angiogenesis Count after Hematopoietic Stem-Cell's Application in Rats
Objectives: The aim of this study was to analyze the increase in angiogenesis and the amount of fibroblasts after hematopoietic stem cell administration in rats (Rattus novergicus). Methods: Laboratory experimental studies using healthy male rats (Rattus novergicus), 3 months of age weighing 200-300grams, were curettaged in gingival labial and divided into 2 group of treatment, K0: injected with PBS on the defect area and K1: injected with Hematopoietic stem cell on the defect area and examinated with Hematoxylin eiosine and Immunohistochemistry at day 1,3,5,7. Results: Fibroblast analysis data shown significant difference with value of 0,003 between treatment and control group whereas angiogenesis analysis data shown significant value of 0,001 between 2 groups. Conclusions: There was an increase in angiogenesis and the amount of fibroblasts in gingival defects in rats given with hematopoietic stem cell injection.
