Gouramy Fish Scales Collagen Enhance Osteocalcin Expression
Objectives: The purpose of this study was to see an increase in the expression of collagen scales of gouramy application
Methods: Twenty-seven of the experimental animals were divided into three groups, the first group used as the control group. CHA as the second group and the third group of gouramy fish scales collagen. Osteocalcin expression was seen 14 days later using immunohistochemical analysis.
Results: The results of Oneway ANOVA test showed a significance value of 0.000 (p <0.05) and Tukey HSD test results with Multiple Comparisons indicate that there are significant differences between the three groups. The group collagen of gouramy fish scales showed the highest expression of osteocalcin.
Conclusions: Application of gouramy fish scales collagen (Osphronemus gouramy) can increase the expression of osteocalcin.
