Combination of Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) with Antiseptic and Local Delivery of Antibiotic to Regenerate Periodontal Tissue

Objectives: To discuss effect of combination platetet rich fibrin with antiseptic and antibiotic in local derived on periodontal tissue regeneration and also to present the results obtained from some clinical investigations
Methods: The methods used to identify and appraise published and unpublished reviews systematically, drawing on our experiences and good practice in the conduct and reporting of systematic reviews are described. The process of identifying and appraising all published reviews allows researchers to describe the quality of this evidence base, summarise and compare the review's conclusions and discuss the strength of these conclusions
Results: Combination in PRF could possibly give a sinergystic effect thus result in optimized regeneration process by local application of antibiotic and antiseptic than using systemic-derived drugs.
Conclusions: PRF combined with metronidazole results in better therapeutic outcomes when compared with PRF alone. Combining antibiotic and antiseptic with PRF has potential of periodontal tissue regeneration without any adverse effect on healing process
