Case I:A 69-year-old male was presented to Kocaeli Univercity Department of Prosthodontics. Clinically and radiographic examination were done. #11,13,45 were extracted because of severe bone loss. Two-part (patrix-matrix) rigid extracoronal attachments for #21,23,43,44 with a vertical freedom of movement and attachment retained removable partial denture performed. After 3 years follow up, dentures were clinically acceptable for  biomechanically and esthetically.

Case II: A 40-year-old female with esthetic and functional problems clinically and radiographic examined. Skeletal II jaw relationship were seen. #11,21,36  are extracted because of severe periodontal disease. #13,15,16,24,37,35,33,43 were prepared. Root canal treatment was accomplished for #13,43,33. Two-part rigid extracoronal attachments for #13,15,24,43,35 were performed. After 6 months there was not  any problem with dentures biomechanically and esthetically.

Result:

Precision attachment retained partial dentures are good alternatives for the esthetict rehabilitation. And also patients satisfied with the function of the dentures.

Conclusion:

Loss of multiple teeth complicates prosthodontic treatment. Attachment retained removable partial dentures have esthetics and biomechanics improvements for cases.
