The Synthesis and Characterization of Agar-Hydroxyapatite composite
Abstract: objective: synthesize a novel nanocomposite composed of agar(AG) and hydroxyapatite (HAp) for hard tissue replacement. Methods:A certain amount of hydroxyapatite in hydrochloric acid solution was added a certain amount of agar sol with the reaction system to adjust the PH value of 7-8. And then the precipitate was lyophilized to obtain the composite of AG-HA. Results: The XRD and FTIR result showed that the crystallization of AG-HA was superior to the performance of AG ; the characteristic peaks of HA and AG oppear in complex ,and the peak migration occurred. The and TEM can observe that HA nanoparticles crystal showed cosh or needle-like, and evenly dispersed. Conclusion: AG-HA composite scaffold has good physical and chemical properties, is expected to apply to build bone tissue engineering.
