Summary: Adult patients usually present with many coexisting conditions like missing teeth, heavily restored dentition, temporomandibular disorders, periodontal conditions and skeletal disorders which may affect their overall orthodontic treatment goals and objectives. Thereby customized treatment to manage their orthodontic goals is the key to achieving a functional occlusion.
