A Sparkling mass in the face
Objectives: we report and discuss a rare case of organized hematoma in a retromolar area with buccal extension for 42 years -old female patient . this report aims to highlight the etiology, pathophysiology, histological findings, different investigations results, and finally the management of an organized hematoma.
Methods: this is a case report of 42 years old , female patient presented with unilateral facial asymmetry on right side
Results: the clinical presentation, history and investagations are confirmed the diagnosis of an organised hematoma
Conclusions: Despite being benign, this condition is difficult to distinguish from a malignant lesion because of its locally invasive nature , as an organized hematoma is classified as a cystic lesion in which the hematoma is enclosed by a superficial fibrotic capsule..and usually it is managed by surgical treatment or ressection
