''Butterfly Baby'' Twins

Objectives: -To describe the specific considerations and challenges in the management of odontogenic cysts in patients with epidermolysis bullosa, taking into account the fragility of oral tissues and potential complications.
-To raise awareness among dental professionals about the impact of EB on oral health and emphasize the need for early intervention and personalized care.
Methods: This is a case report for both twins having a severe type of epidermolysis bullosa, receiving dental and Surgical procedures with utmost caution and some sort of creativity to minimize trauma and ensure proper wound healing.demonstrating the successful implementation of the new technique, which specifically addresses the fragility of oral tissues in EB patients. By carefully adapting and modifying the surgical procedure using available dental tools, we were able to achieve effective cyst management while minimizing complications and optimizing patient comfort.
Results: Firstly, it provides a tailored approach that considers the specific challenges posed by EB, allowing for meticulous tissue handling and gentle wound closure techniques. Secondly, it may contribute to improved postoperative recovery and wound healing, leading to better outcomes and reduced morbidity. Lastly, this technique may have the potential for broader application in the management of other oral surgical procedures in EB patients.
Conclusions: The unique considerations and delicate nature of oral tissues in EB patients necessitate innovative approaches to minimize trauma, promote healing, and improve outcomes of any dental or oral surgical procedure.
Collaboration between specialists is crucial to develop comprehensive treatment plans, address systemic considerations, and provide optimal care for these patients. in a way that is customized to tackle the burdens of providing the usual dental and surgical treatment.
