Oxygen deprived baby on dental chair.

Objectives: to discuss challenges facing dental practitioners, as dental treatment in Pierre Robin Sequance might be complicated by tracheostomy, restrictive lung disease leading to hypoxia, microstomia limiting intraoral access for dentition and the presence of unrepaired cleft palate.
Methods: This is a case report of a 7 year old child diagnosed with Pierre Robin Sequence, the patient was referred to our clinic complaining of dental pain.
Results: Describing oral features of Pierre Robin Sequence patients, obstacles during dental treatment and how to achieve proper management.
Conclusions: Pierre Robin sequence is an inherited craniofacial anomaly, with afterbirth comorbidities; this syndrome has a unique oral features such as microstomia and cleft palate. This features might compromise regular dental treatment methods.
This Article discussed proper management and how to overcome all difficulties encountered during dental treatment to improve oral hygiene and the quality of life for those patients.
