A Novel Technique for the Management of Frontal Bossing Due to Frontal sinus Expansion
Frontal sinus expansion can lead to esthetic deformity. The aim of this study was to introduce a novel technique for the management of frontal bossing due to frontal sinus expansion. A 22-year-old male patient presented to the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department of Taleghani Hospital complaining of a bulge on his forehead, causing dissatisfaction with his facial appearance. A bicoronal flap was elevated, and segmentation of the anterior wall of the frontal sinus was performed. The anterior wall was then repositioned and fixed with a titanium mesh. The surgical result was acceptable and led to patient satisfaction.
