Methods: The computerized tomography (CT) with a dental software programme was taken before the surgical procedures. When CT was evaluated it was decided that bilateral sinus lifting and fourteen dental implants were necessary. SwissPlus (Zimmer Dental, USA) implants and allogen bone grefts (Pacific Coast Tissue Bank, USA ) were used for dental implantation and bilateral sinus lifting. A surgical template which was made of artificial teeth and acyrilic resin, were achieved for positioning the implants. One surgical intervention was performed for simultaneous implant placement in both maxilla and mandible. After seven months healing period the superstructures were made. The definitive segmented restorations consisted of four fixed partial dentures in the maxilla and three in the mandibula were cemented with provisional cement.
Results: In the 6. and 12. month recalled appointments panoromic radiographies showed that there was minimal bone resorption and ideal oral hygiene was observed in the clinical examination. In addition, patient's discomfort problems were totally solved and he was satisfied with his new prosthesis.
Conclusions: The rehabilitation of edentulous jaws with implant supported fixed dentures present significant improvements over conventional complete denture therapy with regard to patient satisfaction and it can improve a patient's quality of life.
