Direct Posterior Composites: Keys to success

Objectives: Dentist often struggle with the shift from traditional amalgam restorations to modern bonded dentistry. Complicated and outdated techniques based on amalgam’s principals; with aggressive tooth preparation and incorrect use of materials, have prevented the use of composites from reaching its true potential. Dr van Lierop will present a simplified and predictable technique for the optimal handling of dental composites, its predictable bonding, adaptation and contouring. With a focus on advanced bonding systems and the latest bulk fill materials , the aim is to introduce techniques and concepts that consistently obtain excellense. With the extraordinary composite resin materials available today, predictable and aesthetically lasting restoration are possible for all clinicians.
