Methods: Two-site ELISA and RT-PCR were applied to determine the levels of TNF-aprotein or mRNA expression in the KB cells respectively .
Results: Candida albicans can induce the KB cells secrete TNF-a. The tendency of the TNF-aprotein secreted by KB cells rised with the time but did not change when candida albicans was more.
Conclusions: Candida albicans is responsible for the oral epithelial cells express and product TNF-a.
