Methods: Differential Thermal Analysis (DTA)was conducted for the powder of RG experimental dentin porcelain and the opaque porcelain using a Setaram-TGDTA92. Two samples for the test for thermal expansion coefficient with the size of 25mm•10mm•8mm were fabricated from RG experimental dentin porcelain and opaque porcelain, respectively. 2 samples for the test for thermal expansion coefficient with the size of ©ª4mm •25mm were cast from pure titanium. The tests were conducted using a Dilatometry-Dil 402 NET2SCH .
Results: The glass transition temperature of the dentin porcelain and opaque porcelain is 460°C,. 470°C .. The Thermal expansion coefficient of opaque porcelain ,dentin porcelain and pure titanium is 7.69±0.08•10-6/°C, 6.28±0.06 •10-6/°C and10.00±0.10•10-6/°C.
Conclusion: The mechanical properties of the porcelain can meet the clinical standard. The porcelain and pure titanium are compatible in thermodynanics
