Clinical reasearch on immediate loading of implant supported denture

Objectives: To restore appearance and function by means of immediate restoration in single-implant patients, according to the theory of immediate loading of implant supported denture.

Methods: Every implant was installed to immediately restore single-missing tooth, then clinical investigation and X-ray were performed at fixed intervals.

Results: 20 cases of implant supported dentures were followed by 6-36 months. There was no loosing found, osseointegration in bone-implant surface was very well, and the absorption near the neck of the implant was less than 1.0 mm.

Conclusions: Clinical investigation was satisfactory recently at immediate loading of single-implant supported denture.
