Cerebral blood flow with magnetic attachment measured by Doppler
Objectives:To investigate the influence of cerebral blood flow of volunteers with magnetic attachment. Methods:The mean flow velocity of the middle cerebral arteries(MCA)of 24 volunteers with magnetic attachment were measured by transcranial Doppler(TCD). Grouping: 1) Group A0, with no magnetic attachment; 2) Group A1, with the magnet made in Netherlands; 3) Group A2, with the magnet made in Japan;4) Group A3, with the magnet made in China. Results:The results showed the mean flow velocity of MCA of 24 volunteers with magnetic attachment was not significantly different from those without magnetic attachment(p>0.05).There was no significant difference between group A1,A2andA3 also. Conclusions:The magnetic attachment had little effect on cerebral blood flow.
