Glass Hybrid as the Choice for Class v Restoration: Results of a Clinical Study
Abstract Body: For restoring cervical restorations, dentists have a range of options, differing in their application mode, physico-chemical properties, and costs. The presentation will first discuss the wider evidence base supporting different materials; second present the design and interim results of a randomized controlled trial comparing a glass hybrid and a composite material for cervical restorations in elderly individuals, and third evaluate the cost-effectiveness of different materials for this indication. The presentation targets researchers in gerodontology, restorative dentistry, and health services research as well as practitioners.
