A descriptive statistical analysis with crosstabs procedures was applied to check frequencies using the SPSS Statistics 20.0 software

Kennedy’s class III the most common (43 %) while class IV the most uncomon (3,2%). There was a higher incidence in the mandibular arch (52,6%). Cobalt chrome alloy(Cr-Co) was the most prevalent infrastructure (55,8%) and most used on Kennedy class III patients. The number of teeth replaced by acrylics was higher than Cr-Co regardless of gender.
