Conventional and adhesive luting protocols for indirect restorations
Abstract Body: Although direct restorations cover widespread indications, indirect cast and ceramic restorations are still the treatment of choice for lager and deeper cavities. Apart from a proper indication, the right cementation procedure is crucial for the long-term stability of the restoration, especially during adhesive luting. The lecture addresses non-adhesive and adhesive luting procedures for cast and ceramic restorations as well as “new” techniques such as the proximal box elevation and focusses on the pre-treatment of the cavity surfaces as well as on the pre-treatment of the restoration surfaces.
