Seventy one parameters of 9 cephalometric analyses were used in the study.

Results:, The collected data were subjected to statistical analysis of SPSS 14 package software. Paired t-test was used for intra group comparison (pre and posttreatment) and differences between group (appliances and sex) were evaluated by analysis of independent t-test. Comparison of two appliances revealed not statistically significant differences between groups and sex, no difference were existed between intra and inter groups' outcome.

Conclusions:, The comfortable usage of twin-block with no function interferences lead to long term usage of this devise in comparison with the other appliances. It has been concluded that twin-block appliances can be used in combined with headgear in order to growth modification in Class II Div I Long face patients.
