Methods:
Had been used rectangular models photoelastic, with two regular implants of 13,0 mm of length. The points of incidence of the load on the system, had been four, called A (center of the bar), B (half of distance between the center of the bar and the center of the implant), C (on the implant with fixation on the bar in the implant against lateral) and D (on the implant without fixation on the bar in the implant against lateral). The used load was of 2,0 Kgf for all the tests inciding vertically on the photoelastic model.
Results: For the direct descriptive analysis photoelastic determined through the qualification and quantification of the fringes, that the use of bar Dolder type overloads the implant next to the incidence point of the force and the distribution is more homogeneous when the force is applied in the average point of the distance between the implants (A). Conclusion: The system of bar retention type Dolder presented a less concentration of tensions in only one implant, a time that one better distribution of efforts on the implant against lateral.
