Pure Porcelain: Applied Method Porcelain and Axial Pressing Porcelain

Objectives:The goal of this paper was to make a comparison between the cervical adjustment in axial pressing porcelain crowns and these ones prepared by the applied method. Methods:A metallic die was utilized and a total preparation with a shoulder margin was prepared on it. The original die was reproduced in to fifteen ones made of refractory investment, and porcelain copings prepared by the applied method were constructed on them. For the axial pressing porcelain, fifteen waxing were carved on the original die immediately included in metallic muffles. Results:Thereafter, the thirty obtainned porcelain copings were adapt, one by one, on the original metallic die for the evaluation of cervical adaptation degree with a Perfilometro. Conclusions: A statistic analysis was accomplished through the t Student test and significant difference was observed among the evalueted groups.
