An approach to self medication as a clinical social strategy.
Self medication from hegemony perspective is considered a reprehensible practice that goes against health. On anthropological view is a way to give answers in a definitive or transitorily way. Besides is part of the “ill’s race”.(Menendez 1992). The object of this work is to take measurements of the point of view, in a social context that conditions our analysis: self medication.1-patients that demand assistance in FOR 2-Patients with social exclusion ( tobas quon. Los Pumitas Rosario).Semi structured interviews were executed considered 2 hubs. 1-self medication practices and 2- access to attention.The groups considered were 1- patients 2- professionals.Results were analyzed on relative percentage. Facts obtained were: self medication in both groups 82% higher than OMS accept. Higher consume was AINE 85%.Inaccessibility to health system 78%.Exodoncia was the prevalent practice.Professionals deny self medication practices on 79%, without writing register of them. Self medication is a clinical-social strategy approaching on this work like an answer of ailment.Study of different ways that take these practices, must considered variables that assume cultural and subjective practices that officials models don’t considered.
