Oral Myiasis - First Reported Case in Saudi Arabia

Objective: Oral Myiasis is a rare disease that is mostly reported in developing countries. This is a case report that describes the presentation of Oral Myiasis as an enlarged buccal gingival pocket in an 8- year old male who returned form Syria. Methods: 12 Fly Larvae polled out of the gingival socket of upper anterior tooth Results: Normal healing occured and regular follow up done Conclusion: This case of Myiasis was caused by flies of the Sarcophgidae family which can affect all age groups.
