Clinical Performance of 3-unit CADon Posterior Fixed-partial Dentures after 55 Months

Objectives: To determine clinical performance of posterior 3-unit all-ceramic fixed partial dentures (FPDs) made with Y-TZP frameworks (IPS e.max® ZirCAD) veneered with lithium disilicate glass-ceramic (IPS e.max® Press) following the CADon™ technique.
Methods: Twenty-five patients received a CADOn 3-unit posterior FPD and were followed for up to 65 months (average 55 months). Four patients moved out of the area. Clinical parameters were evaluated with modified Ryge criteria. Scores were compared (ANOVA) and Kaplan-Meier Survival analysis was performed.
Results: Survival rate was 100% after a mean follow up of 55 months. All parameters evaluated rated Alpha or Bravo, and there were no statistically significant differences between them.
Conclusions: CADOn posterior FPDs reveal favorable clinical performance after 55 months
