Objectives: To create a mobile dental quiz application for students and general practitioners to enhance dental education and dental knowledge. Methods: Questions from different resources (dental exams, books) involving all dentistry fields were gathered and translated in English and French. The scientific content was reviewed by a professional in dentistry graduated in medical pedagogy. The Java programming language and Android frameworks were used to code the application. The application was designed to be user-friendly. Results: The application was succesfully produced and published on Google PlayStore with the name "DentalQuiz". Conclusions: To our best knowledge, this is one of the first applications developed worldwide that deals with dental education and knowledge in a gaming approach. Even thought the idea is brought to life, evaluating its use and efficiency is primordial to its success.
